Keela is the newest member of the Griffiths clan! She was born on January 3, 2009 and is a pure bred chocolate lab. She weighs 12 pounds now but she will be a big dog.
We have been toying with the idea of getting a chocolate lab for a while. So Pearl would have a companion and also just cause we love labs. So Friday afternoon we were looking at them online and just decided it was the time. We are really happy to have her. She is so lovable and well behaved. Pearl and Keela are getting along good. They dont know what to think of each other quite yet. They are going to be the best of friends. So far Keela has taken well to her new home and is very comfortable only on the couch. I think it's cause she feels camouflaged so she can hide better.
I can hardly see her when she's curled up on the brown couch with the brown pillows. She was such a good sport on the long drive home. We think she'll fit right in with this family! We love her so much already!
